Hamdani, has reiterated the department’s unwavering commitment to promoting national unity, social
cohesion, and collective responsibility across society.
Talking to the APP here on Monday, she said the landmark national milestone revitalized the spirit of
unity, sacrifice, patriotism, and shared national consciousness among citizens. She emphasized that
the sacrifices rendered by martyrs and national defenders paved the way for Pakistan’s journey toward
peace, stability, and sustainable development, transforming the national spirit into a guiding beacon
for future generations.
Hamdani stated that Marka-e-Haq not only strengthened nationwide solidarity but also fostered
discipline, responsibility, and constructive social engagement among the youth.
She highlighted that over the past year, the Social Welfare Department Multan organized a wide
range of social awareness initiatives, youth seminars, women’s empowerment sessions, and
community engagement programs aimed at nurturing a positive national mindset.
She revealed that more than 30 awareness programs were conducted across the division, engaging
over 8,000 participants including youth, women, teachers, social workers, and persons with disabilities.
These initiatives focused on national cohesion, social harmony, elimination of negative social trends,
women’s leadership, and the constructive role of young citizens in nation-building.
Underscoring the importance of collective responsibility, Hamdani said societal progress requires
active participation not only from the government but also from social institutions, educational circles,
and citizens at large. She stressed that connecting the younger generation with positive activities,
volunteerism, and national development efforts was essential for building a strong and progressive
Pakistan.
She further announced that special commemorative activities were being organized by the Social Welfare Department Multan on the occasion of first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, including prayer ceremonies,
youth engagement sessions, patriotic musical programs, and tree plantation drives in collaboration with educational institutions and civil society organizations.
Reaffirming her resolve, the Divisional Director pledged that the sacrifices of martyrs would always
be honored, and the Social Welfare Department would continue playing a proactive role in promoting
national unity, brotherhood, social welfare, and a constructive national outlook.
