Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan celebrates birthdays of writer Saleem Channa, Anees Turabi

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan in its wekly series of literay sessions celeberated birthday of the famous storyteller Salim Chana and here at Qasimabad business forum hall.

They said that the Anees Tarabi Memon performed his scholarly literary services in the text book board, his acting and voice acting are imprinted on many minds.

Intellectuals said that Anees Tarabi translated Sheikh Ayaz's drama into urdu and presented it in Islamabad.

Renowned writer Taj Joy said that Saleem Chana is a popular writer as a storyteller and novelist, the books written on Abdullah Chana and Begum Zeenat Chana are important documents.

Only Salim Chana can write short stories and profiles brilliantly and vividly.

Renowned writer and publisher Nazir Naz said that Saleem Chana and Anees Tarabi Memon have done their literary duty by hosting a literary session.

On this occasion, Saleem Chana acknowledged Bazm-e Rooh Rahan and his team and said that Bazm=e- Rooh Rahan is a scientific and literary community, in which many writers are given respect, honor and status.

Writer Anees Tarabi said that Bazm-e Rooh Rahan is the party of Hameed Sindhi whose mission is ongoing.

Writer Mansoor Qadir Junejo said that Saleem Chana and Anees Tarabi are selfless servants of Sindhi literature. Renowned writer Faheem Noonari and Professor Ashraf Sami said that a new tradition has grown by honoring the services of Saleem Chana and Anees Tarabi.

Ghulam Shabbir Tarabi who was a reader of Rooh Rehan magazine in 1960s and later and some of his literary letters were published in Rooh Rihan magazine.

Journalist AD Kabooro read the single line stories of Salim Channa and Darya Khan Pirzado read short sketches in the session.

Poet Talib Bhanbhro, Ayub Junejo, eminent writer and social worker Sheikh Abdullah Kohistani, poet Ehsaas Merel, writer Hussain Sarang, Bazm Rooh Rehan Jamshoro’s district secretary Sikander Ali Koso, publisher Ghulam Mustafa solangi, publisher Ehsan Akash, storyteller Noor Hussain Hussain Kalhoro, journalist Allah Bakhsh also expressed their views.
