HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan in its weekly series of literary sessions hosted an event on the occasion of the 6th death anniversary of Atta Muhammad Bhanbhri, a renowned writer, researcher and translator.
Presiding over the meeting, Professor Syed Zwar Naqvi said that the historical and reserch work of Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro is treasure of literature.
He said that Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro was basically a storyteller, he wrote comic stories, a selfless character.
In the meeting, Secretary General of Bazm-e- Rooh Rehan, Wahid Kandhro said that Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro published Hoshoo magazine in 1967 which was also banned.
Bhanbhro also started law practice with Shaikh Ayaz, later he took up the translation work and translated almost 100 books.

Bizm Rooh Rehan's central office bearer, Saleh Katiyar said that Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro wrote a book to save the new generation, Sindh will always remember this great man.
Talib Bhanbhro said that Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro considered the pen as a friend. When he went to the doctors for treatment, he told them that my friend has forgotten the pen and I cannot write.
Writer Ghulam Qadir Burdi said that Atta Muhammad Bhanbro was a true patriotic writer; he always spoke the truth through his pen.
Niaz Masroor Badawi, Jalil Ahmed and Ali Hasnain, Yaqub Dahri also attended literary session.
