Better facilities to be provided to orphaned children in CPWB: commissioner

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen has said that nurturing environment and improved facilities would be provided for vulnerable children housed in Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB).

During her visit to CPWB, she met orphaned and destitute children residing at the institute, spent time with them and joined them in a cake-cutting ceremony.

She also distributed gifts among the children and appreciated their enthusiastic participation in various indoor games and recreational activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Madam Musarrat Jabeen expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the institute’s management in providing quality education, care and recreational opportunities to the children.

She said that alongside academic development, healthy recreational activities were equally important for the physical and mental well-being of children.

She announced that a solar power system would soon be installed at Child Protection Bureau to improve facilities and reduce energy-related issues.

She said that Deputy Commissioner (DC) Faisalabad was fully on board regarding the initiative and necessary steps would be taken for its early implementation.

She also directed the relevant authorities to maintain high standard of cleanliness inside the institute and on the adjoining road.

In this regard, she also issued instructions to the Suthra Punjab Agency to ensure regular and sustainable cleanliness arrangements around the facility.

During her interaction with the children, the divisional commissioner inquired about their education, meals, sports activities and overall welfare.

She assured them that the district administration would continue to work for their well-being and ensure the provision of a safe, caring and conducive environment for their growth and development.

She said that protecting and nurturing vulnerable children was a collective social responsibility and every possible effort would be made to provide them with opportunities for a brighter and more secure future.

Additional Commissioner Coordination Tanveer Murtaza, District Officer Madam Rubina Iqbal and other officials were also present on the occasion.
