Bike rider shot during robbery attempt

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) An unidentified armed gang shot a bike rider after he resisted a robbery attempt in the Kotla Rahmat Shah area.

According to Rescue 1122, two robbers tried to snatch the rider’s motorcycle. When he resisted, they shot him in the leg and fled the scene.

Rescue teams provided first aid and shifted the injured rider to RHC Uch Sharif. Police have registered a case against the suspects and launched an investigation.
