BISP Chairperson visits Mohmand district, reviews facilities

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid on Friday visited BISP office in Tehsil Yakka Ghund, District Mohmand and reviewed operations and service delivery.

District Officer Mohmand, Director Peshawar, and other relevant officials were present. During visit, Senator Rubina Khalid met with the staff, listened to their concerns and issued directives to resolve their problems. She appreciated the performance of the staff and emphasized to provide best possible facilities to beneficiaries.

BISP chairperson also visited the Benazir Nashonuma Center at Rural Health Center in Yakka Ghund where she reviewed the facilities. She also held a detailed discussion with the staff.

She stressed the importance of treating all visiting women beneficiaries with kindness, dignity and respect. She directed that every eligible woman should be provided with the best possible services.

She remarked that the Benazir Nashonuma Program is playing a vital role in improving maternal and child health and added that enhancing its standards is our collective responsibility.
