BISP chief launches mobile registration van in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid on Friday said the Programme is serving deserving families across the country without discrimination under the vision of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

She expressed these views while addressing party workers and local elders at the residence of Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel in Dera Ismail Khan.

Among those present on the occasion were Member of the National Assembly Naima Kanwal and Members of the Provincial Assembly Meher Sultana, Ashbar Jadoon and Shazia Tahmash.

During the meeting, Rubina Khalid listened to the concerns of party workers and assured them that their complaints would be addressed on a priority basis.

She said beneficiaries are identified through a transparent mechanism and financial assistance is being provided to deserving families under the programme.

The BISP chairperson also highlighted the impact of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme, saying thousands of households are benefiting from it and its positive effects are being witnessed across the society.

Later, she inaugurated a mobile registration van service for the programme and offered prayers at the ceremony. Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel and other guests were also present on the occasion.

Rubina Khalid said the mobile registration van would help extend registration and support services to deserving people living in remote and underdeveloped areas.
