Blind murder traced, two arrested

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) Tarkhani police have solved a blind murder in a month and arrested a quack and his son in this case.

Police spokesman said here on Sunday that Muhammad Ramzan (56), a resident of Chak No. 225-GB, went to Samundri on February 18, 2026 for work but not return in the evening.

His son reported the incident to police who started investigation on scientific lines and trace out the blind murder within one month.

The police arrested a quack Muhammad Rafiq and his son Saad Rafiq over suspicion who confessed the offence of murder.

The accused revealed that Muhammad Rafiq applied an injection to Muhammad Ramzan which caused his instant death and later the accused with the help of his son Saad threw the body into canal to conceal the offence.

The police locked the accused behind bars while further investigation was under progress, spokesman added.
