Board of Studies approves LLM program at SZAB School of Law, Khairpur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) A pivotal meeting of the Board of Studies was convened on Thursday in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Law, at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, to deliberate on the launch of a Master of Laws (LLM) program at the SZAB school of Law.

The session was chaired by Mr Abdul Rehman Bhatti, Dean of the Faculty of Law. In a key presentation, Mr Javed Hussain Bhayo, Incharge/Director of the SZAB School of Law, laid out the formal agenda and proposed Scheme of Studies for the proposed LLM degree.

The distinguished members in attendance included Syed Jaffar Ali Shah (Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and member of the Sindh Bar Council), Mr Nazir Ahmed Sahito (Principal, Constituent Law College, Naushehro Feroze), Prof Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Principal, ABD Law College, Sukkur and Shakeel Akhtar Memon, Principal, Government Law College, Khairpur.

Following a thorough discussion on the curriculum, credit hours and regulatory framework, the board unanimously endorsed the proposal.

The panel granted final approval for the LLM program, marking a significant academic expansion for the SZAB School of Law.
