Body of unidentified man recovered

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) An unidentified middle-aged man was found dead near the Estate Area, Ali Square,rescue sources said on Monday.

According to initial reports,rescue officials shifted the man to Nishtar Hospital after receiving an anonymous call reporting that a person was lying unconscious at the site.

However,doctors at the hospital confirmed that the man had already died before being brought in.

Police were informed soon after and have started an investigation into the incident.

Authorities said efforts were underway to determine the cause of death and identify the deceased,while searches were being conducted to trace his heirs.
