PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) The meeting of board of Governors (BoG) Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex (QHAMC) Nowshera on Tuesday reviewed overall performance, future planning and challenges faced by the complex.

The meeting was chaired by Provincial Health Minister, Khaleeq-ur-Rehman and Secretary Health, Shahidullah, Chairman BoG, Ashfaq Khattak and concerned officials.

On the occasion, meeting was briefed about future planning, operational matters and challenges being faced by the hospital.

The minister highlighted the importance of BoG and stressed to further improve the hospital performance.

He also directed to ensure presence of staff and availability of medicines and necessary equipment in the hospital.

He told that government has approved relaxation in appointments and very soon vacant posts would be filled to address shortage of staff. He also directed to ensure availability of medicines in dispensaries that are approved by Medicine Control Committee.

The minister also reiterated that BoG would continue cooperation to further strengthen health care system.
