The largest congregation took place at the Taheri Mosque in Saddar, where thousands offered Eid prayers. Additional prayer gatherings occurred in Pan Mandi, Soldier Bazaar, Baloch Colony, and Hyderi.

Community members shared joy, exchanged Eid greetings, and offered special prayers. They prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, law and order, elimination of terrorism, national integrity, and prosperity.

Bohra community Eid 2026 Pakistan events followed strict security measures. Police and Rangers deployed personnel and set up checkpoints around mosques to ensure peaceful celebrations.

Men wore traditional white attire, while women donned colorful rida dresses. After prayers, families visited one another and shared community meals, a key Bohra tradition. Charity efforts included donations and food distribution to the needy.

The Dawoodi Bohra community maintains a distinct lunar calendar, often leading to earlier Eid dates. Karachi serves as a major hub for this global Muslim minority, present in over 40 countries. Taheri Mosque in historic Bohri Bazaar acts as the central gathering point in the city.
