Book donation ceremony held at FUUAST

Providentia Books Foundation, a Non Profit OrganiAtion, donated a collection of books to Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) during a brief yet dignified ceremony held on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Providentia Books Foundation, a Non Profit OrganiAtion, donated a collection of books to Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) during a brief yet dignified ceremony held on Tuesday.

The Foundation’s Program Coordinator, Rabia Iqbal, along with other officials visited the university. The books were formally received by Dr Faisal Javiad, Deputy Director ORIC and Head of the Department of International Relations and Mass Communication of FUUAST.

On the occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed. Both institutions expressed their commitment to collaboration in academic and research fields.

Dr Faisal Javed stated that the university is keen to work with the Providentia Books Foundation and plans to arrange visits of students to think tank.

He also appreciated the Foundation for donating books, noting that such contributions play a vital role in promoting a culture of reading and learning among students.

He also said that the university is making a significant contribution in teaching and research, particularly in International Relations.

He added that the university regularly organizes international conferences, seminars and academic sessions.

Rabia Iqbal said that the Foundation is actively working in the fields of research and publication in Islamabad and Karachi.

She added that they look forward to building academic and literary collaboration with the Federal Urdu University.
