BRA warns Service providers to comply with tax laws, pays dues on time to avoid legal complication

Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) on Monday warned all service providers to fully comply with tax laws, file returns and pay dues on time to avoid legal complications and financial losses and play a positive role in the development of the province of Balochistan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) on Monday warned all service providers to fully comply with tax laws, file returns and pay dues on time to avoid legal complications and financial losses and play a positive role in the development of the province of Balochistan.

The BRA has revealed that the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan has been continuously non-compliant in filing returns and paying due taxes under the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act 2015, despite several notices issued by the authority.

According to the BRA, the concerned institution was repeatedly directed to fulfill its legal obligations in a timely manner, however, full implementation has not been revealed yet, which is a clear violation of tax laws.

The authority has warned that if immediate submission of returns and payment of tax dues is not ensured, strict legal action will be taken as per the law, which may include fines, attachment of bank accounts and other measures.
