Bride murder case: brother arrested in Jacobabad

Police arrest the victim’s brother in Jacobabad bride killing case and recover weapon, while raids continue for other suspect.

JACOBABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June-16,2026) the brother of the murdered bride has been arrested in connection with the killing case.

The incident took place six days ago in the Thull area of Jacobabad district.

According to the SSP, the accused named in the case has been arrested and a weapon has also been recovered.

Police said that during the wedding, the bride’s brother also killed the groom.

The SSP added that the accused was arrested during a search operation, while raids are being conducted to arrest four other suspects, including the main accused.

He further stated that the accused wanted his sister to marry his friend.
