Brother arrested within hours for killing sister in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The district police have arrested a man within hours of allegedly killing his sister over a domestic dispute and recovered the weapon used in the crime here in the limits of the Cantt police station on Thursday.

According to police spokesman , the accused, identified as Subhan Ullah, son of Muhammad Bilal and a resident of Basti Darkhan, allegedly shot his sister inside their home following a domestic dispute. DSP City Malik Abid Iqbal, along with SHO Cantt Arslan Khan Gandapur, led a swift operation that resulted in the suspect’s arrest within a few hours of the incident.

The police said the pistol used in the crime was also recovered. A case has been registered against the accused, who has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
