The District Information Office has finalized arrangements for a series of Bunyan-um-Marsoos events scheduled for Friday

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The District Information Office has finalized arrangements for a series of Bunyan-um-Marsoos events scheduled for Friday.

According to the local administration representatives, the day-long activities will begin with a grand marathon race at City Housing Society at 8:00 AM. More than 1,000 participants from different walks of life, including students, youth, athletes, and members of civil society, are expected to take part in the event. The marathon is being organized to encourage healthy activities, community participation, and a spirit of national solidarity.

Special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth conduct of the race, including security, traffic management, medical assistance, and volunteer support.

Later in the day, at 11:00 AM, a flag march will be conducted at Kutchery Chowk by the Punjab Police and PERA forces. The march will showcase preparedness, discipline, and the commitment of law enforcement agencies to maintaining peace and security.
