C&W Secretary expresses resent on incomplete projects, directs to complete them soon

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Secretary Communications and Works (C&W) Babar Khan on Thursday expressed his strong resentment over the incomplete projects and directed to take steps to complete delayed projects soon for facilitating people in the areas of the province.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review the progress and issues being faced by the ongoing incomplete development projects in the province.

Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers and District Executive Engineers of all six zones of the province participated in the meeting via Zoom.

During the meeting, District Executive Engineers from across the province gave a detailed briefing on the ongoing but yet incomplete projects in their respective districts.

The briefing discussed in detail the obstacles hindering the completion of these projects, which included technical issues, financial difficulties and other administrative issues.

On this occasion, Secretary Communications and Works Babar Khan expressed his strong dissatisfaction over the incomplete projects and said that all delayed projects should be completed immediately. He clarified that no justification for delay would be acceptable.

The Secretary directed the officers to show seriousness and responsibility to resolve this serious issue and adopt effective strategies to remove the obstacles immediately.

He said that incomplete projects not only hinder public welfare but also have a negative impact on the overall performance of the Department of Communications and Works.

Babar Khan said that practical steps would be taken to ensure timely completion of all pending projects and the progress would be regularly reviewed.
