Case filed against alleged honey-trap gang

BUREWALA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Police on Monday registered a case against a group allegedly involved in blackmailing citizens

through a honey-trap scheme in Burewala.

According to police,the case was lodged at Model town police station on the complaint of Muhammad Sarfraz,r/o 571/EB. The complainant accused Sajida,wife of Riaz Jatt,Ramzana Jatt, Palwasha of 415/EB and an unidentified accomplice of orchestrating the scheme.

The FIR states that Sajida contacted the complainant via phone and WhatsApp,inviting him to a meeting.

Upon arrival,the other suspects allegedly confronted him,leveled false allegations and threatened to publicly humiliate him by tearing Sajida's clothes.

The suspects reportedly extorted Rs 20,000 and a mobile phone while also demanding more money and issuing threats of serious consequences.

Police have initiated an investigation following registration of the case.
