Cattle thief gang busted, two held

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) Muzaffarabad police have busted a notorious cattle thief gang and arrested its two members during a special operation launched here on Thursday.

In line with special directives of the City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, Muzaffarabad police under the supervision of SP Cantonment division Kainat Azhar, launched a special operation against the criminals involved in cattle theft.

The police busted the notorious Bilal alias Bilali gang, besides arresting its ringleader Bilal alias Bilali and Muhammad Sajid.

During the interrogation, stolen cattle of Rs 600,000 and cash Rs 50,000 were recovered from their possession by tracing six cases.

Further investigations were underway from the arrested criminals and more recoveries were expected from them, police sources added.
