CBD changes its priorities for new financial year

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) The Central business District (CBD) Punjab has changed its priorities for the new financial year.

The CBD administration has decided that instead of new mega projects, the focus would remain on completing the ongoing schemes.

According to sources, during the new financial year 2026-27, the CBD Punjab has prepared a roadmap for its development projects. In the new financial year, instead of launching major development projects, a strategy has been adopted to complete ongoing schemes.

In the past years, the CBD Punjab launched many major development works including Walton Road expansion project, drainage system improvement, CBD Road 44, Nawaz Sharif IT City and Kalma Chowk Underpass expansion projects.
