Cement exports increases 14.74 pc to $291.104m in 10 months

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) The exports of cement witnessed an increase of 14.74 percent during the first ten months of the current fiscal year 2025-26 as against the exports of the corresponding months of last year.

The cement exports from the country were recorded at US $291.104 million during July-April (2025-26) against the exports of US $253.710 million during July-April (2024-25), according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Thursday.

In terms of quantity, the cement export witnessed an increase of 4.74 percent from 7,132,690 metric tons to 7,471,134 metric tons, the data revealed.

Meanwhile, year-on-year basis, the cement exports witnessed a decrease of 14.36 percent during the month of April 2026 as compared to the same month of last year.

The exports of cement from the country during April 2026 were recorded at US $20.250 million against the exports of US $23.644 million in April 2025.

On a month-on-month basis, cement exports decreased by 51.69 percent during April 2026 when compared to the exports of US $41.919 million in March 2026, the PBS data revealed.
