PARIS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris hosted a special ceremony in honour of Dr. Aurore Didier for conferment of Pakistan’s civil award, Tamgha-i-Pakistan (Medal of Pakistan), in recognition of her outstanding contributions to archaeology and the promotion of cultural cooperation between Pakistan and France.
Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch conferred the award on Dr. Didier on behalf of the President of Pakistan. The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, French scholars and archaeologists, representatives of cultural institutions, media persons, and friends of Pakistan.
Welcoming the guests, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch congratulated Dr. Didier on the prestigious recognition and appreciated her invaluable services towards the preservation and promotion of Pakistan’s rich archaeological heritage, particularly the Indus Valley Civilization.
