Ceremony organized to mark 75 years' Pak-China diplomatic relations

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) A ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China was held here on Thursday with local officials, civil society representatives and education authorities in attendance.

Assistant Commissioner, Shaneta Jabin, Chief Officer Education, Azhar Sohail Niazi, the police officials, COs. IMCs, district council research officers and members of civil society were present on the occasion.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a rendition of Naat in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), followed by remarks highlighting the longstanding ties between the two countries.

Former Deputy Commissioner, Ayesha Rizwan and DPO, Dr. Naveed Atif said the event aimed to further strengthen mutual trust and regional cooperation between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, the officials described the 75-year diplomatic relationship as a “bright chapter” of enduring friendship and cooperation, adding that both countries were pursuing important initiatives for a better future.
