Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, distributed certificates of excellence to Deputy Commissioners and District Education Officers from five districts that achieved 100 percent enrollment targets during the ongoing school admission campaign for the current academic year

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, distributed certificates of excellence to Deputy Commissioners and District Education Officers from five districts that achieved 100 percent enrollment targets during the ongoing school admission campaign for the current academic year.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized that these achievements were the result of effective planning, teamwork, and dedicated efforts. He stressed the importance of sustaining this momentum to ensure long-term improvements in the province’s education sector.

According to the Education Department, the districts are recognized for their outstanding performance.

"Lasbela (1st Position): Deputy Commissioner Humaira Baloch and District Education Officer Masood Haleem

Quetta (2nd Position): Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini and District Education Officer Zakia Ali

Sherani (3rd Position): Deputy Commissioner Hazrat Wali Kakar and District Education Officer Ahmed Khan Sherani

Zhob (4th Position): Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Arif Zarkoon and District Education Officers Musa Khan and Fauzia Nawaz

Sohbatpur (5th Position): Deputy Commissioner Fareeda Tareen and District Education Officer Panhal Khan"

The event was attended by Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, provincial ministers Mir Ziaullah Langove and Noor Muhammad Dummar, Advisor Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani, Member of Provincial Assembly Maulvi Noorullah, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Education Lal Jan Jaffar, Special Secretary Abdul Salam Achakzai, along with other senior officials.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector, pledging that initiatives to encourage performance-based recognition and motivation among officials would continue.
