Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani attended a prayer ceremony at Pakistan Sweet Home in Islamabad for the late Marvi Khurshid Malik, daughter of Senator Sherry Rehman, parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani attended a prayer ceremony at Pakistan Sweet Home in Islamabad for the late Marvi Khurshid Malik, daughter of Senator Sherry Rehman, parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party.

A large number of political leaders and public figures attended the ceremony, including Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Senators Muhammad Azam Swati, Zeeshan Khanzada, Shahadat Awan, Falak Naz, Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Fozia Arshad and Faisal Javed, MNA Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, Syed Khurshid Shah, former Senate chairman Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Aamir Fida Paracha, Nazar Muhammad Gondal and Zamurrad Khan, along with lawmakers, senior journalists, and citizens.

Fateha was offered for the departed soul during the ceremony. Gilani said he shares the grief of Sherry Rehman and her family and prayed for strength and patience for them to bear the loss.

A large number of children from Pakistan Sweet Home also attended the ceremony.
