LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-April 29, 2026) Following a tragic traffic accident in the Changa Manga area, three injured female students were rushed to Lahore General Hospital (LGH), where they are receiving high-quality medical treatment under the direct supervision of the hospital administration.

Upon receiving news of the incident, Principal PGMI Prof. Dr. Farooq Afzal and MS LGH Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain immediately reached the Emergency Department to oversee the rescue operations and ensure the provision of prompt clinical care.

Prof. Farooq Afzal said that, in line with the directives of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the provincial government’s health policy, all possible resources are being utilized for the treatment of the students. He stated that the hospital is committed to providing premium medical facilities to the victims without any cost or delay.

The Principal further detailed that essential diagnostic procedures, including CT scans and other clinical tests were completed on a priority basis, while a dedicated team of senior specialists is monitoring the condition of the students around the clock to ensure their stable recovery. He assured the families of the injured students that the medical process would continue uninterrupted until they are fully recovered and fit for discharge.

Furthermore, MS LGH Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain confirmed that the emergency staff, including doctors, nurses and paramedics, remain on alert and are providing specialized care to the students to facilitate a speedy recovery and return to their homes.
