Chenab Nagar park set for major upgrades as AC oversees beautification drive

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Lalian, Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed on Wednesday conducted a detailed inspection of Chenab Nagar Park to review ongoing maintenance and propose improvements for the public recreational space. The visit was attended by Chief Officer Municipal Committee Shri Nagar, Pervez Akhtar, among other officials.

During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner issued comprehensive instructions to ensure immediate attention to cleanliness throughout the park. He highlighted the need for proper tiling of swings and walking tracks, maintenance of washrooms, and cleanliness of the park’s waterfall area.

Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed also emphasized that quality items should be made available in the park’s canteen, and that the entire cleaning process should be carried out under close supervision to meet the standards expected by visitors.

In addition, he called for the planting of more trees and flowering plants to enhance the park’s environment. The initiative aims to provide citizens with spacious, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing recreational facilities, fostering both leisure and greenery in the area.
