Cheque dishonour PO, 3 illegal arms holders arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) The Westridge Police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in a cheque dishonour case, while the Saddar Division Police detained three persons and recovered weapons and ammunition in separate operations, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Monday.

According to the spokesman, the proclaimed offender in the cheque dishonour case had been on the run since January this year. He said the accused would be sent by the Westridge Police to court with solid evidence to ensure exemplary punishment.

Meanwhile, three suspects were taken into custody in separate actions by the Gujar Khan and Saddar Beroni police of the Saddar Division.
