Chief Minister takes notice of complaints over doctors’ recruitment

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has taken notice of complaints regarding the recruitment of doctors and directed candidates alleging violations of merit to submit documentary evidence to the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell by Sunday.

According to an official statement, the CM said the government is committed to ensuring transparency and merit in all recruitment processes and that any complaint supported by credible evidence would be thoroughly examined.

He instructed all aggrieved candidates to submit relevant proof of alleged irregularities within the stipulated time so that the matter could be reviewed fairly and transparently.

The statement said the evidence received would be placed before the next provincial cabinet meeting for consideration, where a decision would be taken on the basis of the available facts.

The CM warned that if any individual or authority is found responsible for violating merit or recruitment rules, strict action would be taken in accordance with the law.
