- China, India hold 35th meeting of working mechanism for consultation, coordination on border affairs

BEIJING, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Director General (DG) of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Foreign Ministry China, Hou Yanqi and Joint Secretary of the East Asia Division of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Sujit Ghosh co-chaired the 35th 'Meeting of Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on Border Affairs'.
Representatives of government agencies for foreign affairs, national defense, internal affairs, and immigration affairs of the two countries attended the meeting held here.
Both sides conducted constructive dialogue in practical and friendly atmosphere and acknowledged that border area maintained lasting peace and tranquility.
