Chiniot Deputy Commissioner reviews hospital, cattle market and Muharram arrangements in Bhowana

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan paid a detailed visit to Tehsil Bhowana in Chiniot on Wednesday, inspecting healthcare facilities, cattle market arrangements, civic beautification projects and Muharram security preparations.

During her visit to THQ Hospital Bhowana, the deputy commissioner, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Sheena Azam and health officials, reviewed medical and administrative affairs in various wards. She met patients and inquired about the availability of medicines and treatment facilities, directing hospital authorities to install additional benches for attendants, ensure uninterrupted operation of air-cooling systems and improve other patient services.

Later, Ayesha Rizwan inspected the sacrificial animal sale point established in Bhowana and expressed dissatisfaction over the arrangements. She directed the cattle market administration to address all shortcomings within 24 hours and ordered provision of shaded waiting areas, cooling fans or coolers, clean drinking water, proper parking facilities and hygienic washrooms for traders and buyers.

She also reviewed traffic and security measures and instructed officials to further strengthen arrangements.

The deputy commissioner subsequently reviewed ongoing beautification work at Main Jhang Road Bypass Chowk, where she appreciated the efforts of the district administration and municipal authorities while directing officials to further improve civic infrastructure and strengthen monuments installed at the site.

She also later conducted a foot inspection of Muharram procession routes along with local organizers and officials from police and allied departments, ordering immediate implementation of their requests and directing authorities to ensure cleanliness, installation of CCTV cameras and strict security measures for mourners during processions.
