Chiniot DPO holds open court to address citizens’ complaints promptly

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif on Thursday organized an open court at the DPO Office Chiniot to facilitate the immediate resolution of citizens’ complaints. During the session, residents presented their issues, which the DPO personally heard and directed concerned officers to address without delay.

The DPO also instructed the Complaint Cell to ensure that all requests are implemented and follow-up reports submitted. He emphasized that the doors of his office remain open at all times, allowing citizens to approach him freely, without any recommendation, to resolve their problems efficiently.

Dr. Atif further informed the public that complaints can also be submitted via WhatsApp to the Complaint Cell at 0370-4022020. Open court sessions are held daily from 10 am to 12 noon, ensuring that public grievances are heard promptly and justice is delivered at the police station level.

Reiterating his commitment to law and order, the DPO stressed that uniform implementation of the law and timely provision of justice will be ensured at all costs. He assured citizens that the police remain dedicated to serving the public with transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
