Chiniot police conduct workshop to promote positive public engagement under CM’s vision

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chiniot Police is taking proactive measures to cultivate professional and courteous behavior among its personnel. Accordingly, a training workshop was organized on Thursday at the DPO Office Chiniot, focusing on improving the public service attitude of police officers and fostering positive interactions with citizens.

During the session, special lectures emphasized good morals, professional conduct, and respectful engagement with the public. Officers were instructed to address citizens politely as “Sir” or “Madam” and prioritize resolving their concerns efficiently. Participants were also briefed on the directives of the Chief Minister to reinforce the importance of patience, courtesy, and civic responsibility.

Senior police officers, religious scholars, teachers, and doctors spoke at the workshop, encouraging personnel to adopt a spirit of public service, forbearance, and accountability. They highlighted that policing is not merely enforcement but also serving the community with dignity and respect.

DPO Dr. Naveed Atif directed that all officers make public service their guiding principle, ensure the protection of citizens’ rights, and uphold their dignity at all costs. Officials affirmed that such initiatives will strengthen community trust and enhance the overall effectiveness of law enforcement in the district.
