CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) In a significant and well-organized development, a joint meeting of the District Agriculture Advisory Committee and District Weight Committee was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Wasiq Abbas Hurl, whereas key matters related to wheat procurement and agricultural support were discussed, furthermore aligning with the Punjab government’s policy framework.

During the meeting, officials thoroughly reviewed the upcoming wheat procurement campaign, meanwhile emphasizing the need for timely and efficient arrangements to support farmers.

Authorities stated that all preparations are being completed promptly, moreover focusing on the provision of fertilizer to farmers and facilitating wheat procurement in a transparent manner.

Chairing the meeting, ADCG Wasiq Abbas Hurl directed that necessary instructions be issued clearly, therefore ensuring effective implementation of the government’s policy. He reiterated that all departments must work actively and in coordination to safeguard farmers’ interests and achieve procurement targets successfully.
