Citizen appreciate cleanliness in Cantt

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) The special cleanliness operation in the Cantonment area continued without any break after Eid, covering markets, major roads, and residential neighborhoods.

Under the directions of Cantonment board President Saleem Younas, Executive Officer Sardar Atif Sultan personally supervised the sanitation arrangements. The emergency complaint cell remained active, while dedicated teams were deployed across different areas to ensure timely waste removal.

Special measures were taken for the disposal of sacrificial animal offal and other waste, which helped maintain satisfactory sanitation conditions across the cantonment during the Eid holidays.

Sanitation staff remained on duty throughout the festive period, ensuring quick resolution of public complaints.

Former Cantonment Board member and District Peace Committee representative Muhammad Yaqoob Shaira, inspected the cleanliness operations at various locations and directed staff to further improve service delivery for citizens.

Residents appreciated the sanitation arrangements, stating that prompt waste removal kept the environment clean, hygienic, and pleasant. They lauded the performance of Executive Officer Sardar Atif Sultan and the cantonment administration for their effective management during Eid.
