Citizens urged not throw animal waste on roads during Eid

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Chief Executive Officer of Bahawalpur Waste Management Company, Naeem Akhtar, urged citizens not throw animal waste on roads during Eid days.

According to an official press release issued here, he said that ensuring cleanliness during Eid-ul-Adha is a collective responsibility of everyone.

He stated that the timely disposal of animal waste during the days of sacrifice and the provision of a clean environment are essential for public health and the beauty of the city.

He expressed these views during a meeting with various religious delegations regarding the Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness plan at the office of the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company.

The Chief Executive Officer said that through collective cooperation, not only can cleanliness arrangements be made more effective, but people can also remain protected from foul odors, pollution, and epidemics.
