Forum opens Pakistan and other countries in the field of justice and constitutional development

MOSCOW: Chief Justice of Pakistan Federal Constitutional Court, Aminuddin Khan, took part in the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in Russia, where he represented Pakistan on issues related to law, justice, and constitutional cooperation. His visit highlighted Pakistan engagement with global legal platforms.

During the forum, he met Turkiye Justice Minister Akin Gurlek. Both sides discussed ways to improve judicial cooperation and strengthen legal ties between the two countries. He also held talks with Tajikistan Chief Justice Rustam Pirakhmadovich Mirzozoda, focusing on better institutional links and shared legal understanding.

Justice Aminuddin Khan also met Senator Vladimir Chizhov, who leads the Russia-Pakistan friendship group in the Russian Federation Council. Pakistan Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, was also present during these meetings.

The discussions covered key topics such as constitutional law, judicial reforms, exchange of legal expertise, and opportunities for future cooperation among legal institutions. Officials from different countries showed interest in expanding collaboration in legal training and institutional development.

Justice Aminuddin Khan said that Pakistan Federal Constitutional Court is committed to strengthening international judicial cooperation. He also stressed the importance of upholding constitutional principles and promoting rule based governance.

His participation in the forum reflects Pakistan growing involvement in international legal affairs. It also opens new possibilities for cooperation between Pakistan and other countries in the field of justice and constitutional development.
