Clean Punjab's cleaning operation continues uninterrupted in Lahore, 15,000 workers were mobilised for cleaning on Tuesday

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) Clean Punjab's cleaning operation continues uninterrupted in Lahore, 15,000 workers were mobilised for cleaning on Tuesday.

According to DG Clean Punjab Authority Babar Sahib Din, LWMC cleaning workers and officers are present in the field in all three shifts.

More than 1400 vehicles are working in all three shifts, staff was deployed in all three shifts in 197 commercial markets, rickshaw teams are mobilized to collect garbage from house to house.

After Eid-ul-Fitr, the return of people continues from other cities, additional staff has been deployed at railway stations, bus stands, and lorry bases.
