MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) The cleanliness operation carried out during Eid-ul-Adha was successfully completed across the division, with local authorities ensuring the prompt disposal of sacrificial waste and addressing public complaints throughout the three-day festival.
According to the Commissioner’s Office, a total of 365,082 animal remains and waste materials were disposed of in the division’s 14 tehsils during the three days of Eid-ul-Adha.
The operation was conducted under a comprehensive sanitation plan aimed at maintaining cleanliness and protecting public health.
The spokesman for the commissioner, Iram Saleemi said that sanitation teams remained active round-the-clock during the Eid holidays to ensure the timely collection and disposal of sacrificial waste.

The spokesman further said that 5,871 public complaints were received and resolved promptly during the three-day period, reflecting the administration’s commitment to providing efficient municipal services.
She appreciated the efforts of sanitation workers, municipal staff and field teams for their dedication and hard work in making the cleanliness campaign a success across the division.
