QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the killing of 17 terrorists during successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) by security forces in different districts of Balochistan and paid tribute to the professionalism and sacrifices of security forces and law enforcement agencies (LEAs).

In a statement, the Balochistan Chief Minister said that the security forces have foiled the nefarious intentions of terrorist elements through timely and effective operations and have dealt a major blow to the networks operating against the peace and stability of the province.

He said that these successes achieved in the war against terrorism are the result of the determination, bravery and continuous efforts of the security agencies.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the people of Balochistan want peace, development and prosperity and terrorist elements could not hold the bright future of the province hostage.

He said that the Balochistan government would continue to fully cooperate with the security forces and law enforcement agencies to completely eradicate terrorism and protect the lives and property of the people.

The Chief Minister reiterated the resolve that operations against anti-state elements, their facilitators and terrorist networks operating under external patronage could continue with full force.

He said that the establishment of law and order in Balochistan, the continuation of the development process and the protection of the people to be ensured at all costs.

He appreciated the professionalism of the officers and soldiers participating in the operations and said that the entire nation stands with its security forces and this struggle would continue until the complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism.
