CM Bugti, ministers offer Eid-ul-Azha prayers, pray for stability of country

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and others Ministers offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, Quetta on Wednesday.

Members of National Assembly (MNAs), members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs), senior government officials and tribal elders also participated in the Eid-ul-Adha prayer.

They special prayed for national security, unity and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.

On this occasion, provincial ministers, members of the National and Provincial Assembly, senior civil, military officials and people from various walks of life were also present with the Chief Minister.

Special prayers were asked for the unity and prosperity of Muslimah. The elevation of the ranks of those who died in the Quetta tragedy, the speedy recovery of the injured and patience for the affected families were also prayed.

Speaking on the occasion of congratulating nation on Eid-ul-Azha, the Chief Minister said that Eid-ul-Azha reminds us of the great sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail which teaches us sacrifice, patience, unity and the spirit of brotherhood.

He said that in the current situation, we need to strengthen unity, mutual harmony and national unity.

The CM said that in the context of the tragedy of Quetta, the government of Balochistan has decided to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with simplicity so that the affected families could be equally involved in the grief.

He said that the people of Balochistan stood with their brave security forces, police, levies and law enforcement agencies with their heart and soul and no sacrifice would be spared for the establishment of peace.

He mentioned that for the first time, organized cleanliness campaign is being launched to provide a clean and healthy environment to the citizens.

He said that the staff of the municipal services across the province would be fully active during the Eid days, while the cleaning teams could collect the waste of the sacrificial animals and destroy them at the designated places.

The system can be maintained effectively and the urban environment can be protected from pollution during the days of Eid.be able to celebrate, he said.
