MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) Chairperson Chief Minister’s Complaints Cell Saima Farooq on Saturday chaired an open kutchery at Raza Hall,where she directly heard grievances of more than 400 citizens.
The event was attended by Commissioner Amir Karim Khan,Regional Police Officer(RPO),Usman Gondal,Deputy Commissioner(DC) Nauman Siddique,City Police Officer(CPO),Sadiq Dogar and heads of relevant departments.
Citizens lodged complaints regarding land encroachments,law and order issues and problems related to various public service departments.
Officials concerned were directed to take on-the-spot measures for the prompt resolution of complaints.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Speaking on the occasion,Saima Farooq said open kutcheries were a symbol of public trust and good governance, adding that delay in resolving public issues would not be tolerated.
She directed all departments to ensure timely redressal of complaints.
She said joint open kutcheries involving all departments would be held on a monthly basis,adding that such forums were helping bridge the gap between the public and the government.
Commissioner Amir Karim Khan said open kutcheries were helping relieve citizens of repeated visits to government offices. He said timely resolution of public grievances remained a top priority of the Punjab government.
