CM extends Eid greetings to nation,Muslim Ummah

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz Sharif on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah.

In her Eid message on Wednesday,the CM paid rich tribute to the armed forces personnel deployed on the country’s borders for safeguarding the nation during Eid days.

She also appreciated officers and staff engaged in cleanliness operations and other public service duties on Eid.

CM Maryam Nawaz expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs and paid tribute to every Muslim performing the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) through sacrifice.

The CM also saluted the great sacrifices of all martyrs,including young female students affected by Israeli aggression.

She said Eid-ul-Azha conveyed the message of sacrifice,compassion and selflessness,urging people to include underprivileged segments of society in Eid celebrations to seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah.

CM further appealed to citizens to share their joys with the poor and deserving,said the true spirit of Eid lay in spreading happiness among all sections of society.
