CM KP condemns Bannu police station attack, vows to eradicate terrorism

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (CMKP) Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi issued a strong condemnation on Sunday following a terrorist attack on Fateh Khel Police Station in Bannu district.

Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives, KP CM offered prayers for elevation of martyrs and swift recovery of those wounded in assault. He underscored government's support by directing authorities to ensure that all injured individuals receive best possible medical treatment.

CM KP emphasized that fight against terrorism is a collective national responsibility rather than a burden for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alone. He reaffirmed the provincial government's solidarity with every family affected by such violence. He also praised police force for their frontline sacrifices in ongoing conflict and asserted that these sacrifices would not be in vain.

He vowed that provincial government remains committed to completely eradicating scourge of terrorism from region.
