CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) A special health screening camp under the initiative of the Punjab Chief Minister was formally launched at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Chiniot on Wednesday to provide free medical facilities to the public.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Thursday, while Chief Officer Health Dr. Saqib Munir, Medical Superintendent Dr. Shaukat Nadeem and other officials were also present on the occasion.
According to details, the camp will continue from May 14 to May 16 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at selected health facilities across the district, including DHQ Hospital Chiniot, THQ Hospitals in Lalian and Bhowana, MNCH centres at 14 Chak and Ahmed Nagar, and other designated rural health centres.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Officials said the free services include medical history review, clinical screening for eye, dental and skin diseases, tests for Hepatitis B and C and HIV, diagnosis of hypertension and diabetes, chest examinations and TB screening. Maternal and child healthcare services, including immunisation for pregnant women and medical check-ups for girls under 15, are also part of the initiative.
