CM's Advisor pays tribute to workers on Labour Day

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Cooperative Department, Sardar Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari on Friday paid tribute to workers on the occasion of Labor Day.

In his message on International Labour Day, he said that workers played a pivotal role in the development of any society and the strengthening of its economy. The Labor Day reminds us of the sacrifices, struggles and the importance of the rights of the working class, Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari said.

He said that the Sindh Government was taking practical measures to ensure the welfare, safe working environment and better employment opportunities for workers.

He said that the Sindh Government was paying full attention to providing fundamental rights to workers, including essential facilities and social security.

"On this day, we must renew our commitment to continue joint efforts toward protecting workers' rights, eliminating exploitation, and promoting dignified employment," Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari said.
