CM's aide visits Bannu, reviews law and order situation

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat on Wednesday visited District Bannu to review overall law and order situation and the government's ongoing security measures.

He was accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary for Home and Tribal Affairs and Member Provincial Assembly Haji Zahidullah Wazir and concerned officials.

During the visit, Commissioner Bannu Division, Khalid Mehmood and Deputy Inspector General of Police Bannu Region, Rab Nawaz Khan briefed the CM aide on the prevailing law and order situation, security arrangements and the performance of the relevant institutions.

It was told that all concerned departments are working in close coordination to ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property and maintain peace and stability in the region.

CM aide directed the relevant authorities to utilize all available resources to ensure effective public service delivery, provide maximum facilities to the people and further strengthen public confidence in government institutions.

He said that maintenance of law and order, public safety and efficient public service delivery is among foremost priorities of provincial government.

He provincial government remains in close coordination with all relevant institutions and effective measures are being implemented to ensure lasting peace, uphold the rule of law and restore normalcy in Bannu.
