CMG to utilize all available resources to boost revenue: DC

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Peshawar and Administrator Capital Metropolitan Government, Sanaullah Khan, on Friday said that all available resources would be utilized to enhance revenue while ensuring priority resolution of citizens’ issues.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting attended by Director General Capital Metropolitan Government Qadeer Naseer, Director Finance Ijaz Sarwar, Director Estate Management Kamran Amjad and other concerned officials.

The meeting was given a detailed briefing on the administrative structure, revenue generation, expenditures and overall functioning of the Capital Metropolitan Government.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to activate all possible sources of revenue, ensure timely recovery of dues and reduce unnecessary expenditures to improve financial discipline.

He also stressed effective utilization of government properties, warning that negligence or inefficiency would not be tolerated.

He further instructed departments to take practical steps for improved service delivery and adopt a coordinated strategy to enhance performance across all sectors.

Reaffirming his commitment, the DC said that principles of transparency, merit and good governance would be upheld to make the institution more effective and provide maximum relief to the public.
