COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir arrives in Tehran

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir on Friday arrived in Tehran to attend the funeral prayers of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

Upon his arrival, the Field Marshal was warmly received by Iran's Defence Minister, Interior Minister, and senior civil and military officials.
